Catalin joined CapitalInvest in 2007. Starting with 1993 Catalin managed numerous M&A projects in industries such as financial services, energy and utilities, transport and logistics, IT, etc. At the same time, Catalin is the President of the Board and CEO of MPG (www.mpg.com.ro).

Before CapitalInvest, Catalin was VP at RAEF where he developed and led the Corporate Finance Department. Between 1993 and 2002, Catalin held various executive positions in companies such as ABN AMR (Director of Corporate Finance), CAIB (VP and CEO of Investment Bank Austria) and Coopers & Lybrand (Consultant)

Catalin received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, USA, a Diploma in Management from the IMC in Budapest and an MSc in Computer Science from the Polytechnic Institute in Bucharest.
